PM launches development works of Guntur rly station

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday virtually launched the development works of Guntur railway station.
A programme was organized on the occasion in the railway station for which BJP national secretary Y Satya Kumar attended as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Satya Kumar said that Rs 60,000 crore has been spent for the development of railway stations across the country during the Narendra Modi regime. As many as 72 railway lines are being developed in Andhra Pradesh by spending hundreds of crores, he asserted.
The BJP leader alleged that many railway projects, worth Rs 9,610 crore, had been pending in the state since the AP government did not release its share. He appealed to YSRCP MP Ayodyarami Reddy to ensure that the AP government releases its share for the railway projects.
“The Indian railway is being developed as a model railway in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Revolutionary reforms have been brought in the Indian railways,” Satya Kumar highlighted. He said that the railways in AP would witness a massive development in the coming days.
Later talking to the media, Satya Kumar said that state BJP president D Purandeswari is looking after the issue of alliance with the TDP-JSP. “We hope that the BJP high command will take an appropriate decision soon on the alliance,” he stated.
Referring to the removal of a flexi banner of the BJP, he said that the BJP-led Centre had taken up development projects and flexi was erected highlighting the same. He took exception to the removal of BJP flexi banners.
“It is not proper for the police to attack the BJP activists on erecting flexi banners. The ruling YSRCP is in fear of defeat and that is why it is resorting to such acts. The YSRCP is trying to intimidate the BJP cadres by using the police,” Satya Kumar slammed.
It may be mentioned here that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Tuesday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated and dedicated to the Nation around 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth more than Rs. 41,000 crores via video conferencing. Lakhs of people connected with the Viksit Bharat Viksit Railways event from 500 railway stations and 1500 other venues.
BJP district president Vanama Narendra Kumar, state vice-president Chandu Sambashiva Rao, state official spokesperson Vallur Jayaprakash Narayana, Maganti Sudhakar Yadav and Bhimineni Chandrasekhar were among those who attended the meeting.
