Police prevent Raja Singh from entering secretariat

Must read

TPCC President Revanth Reddy had a bitter experience the very next day after the inauguration of the new secretariat when he tried to submit a Right to Information (RTI) application there. The police blocked Revanth half a km away from the secretariat saying that he has no appointment.

On May 5, the police blocked BJP corporators when they tried to enter the new secretariat.

On Saturday BJP MLA T. Raja Singh had the same experience as Revanth Reddy and BJP corporators when he tried to enter the new secretariat. The police blocked Raja Singh from entering the Secretariat.

Expressing anger over the treatment he received from the police, Raja Singh said that Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav had invited all MLAs and MPs of Hyderabad to discuss the development of Hyderabad district and that he had come to the Secretariat on his bike due to that.

But the Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) stationed at the Secretariat stopped Raja Singh making it clear that he has no permission to enter into the new building even after Raja Singh said that he had come as per the invitation of Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

Raja Singh waited for some time but did not get permission to enter the Secretariat and he returned home.

However, Deputy Mayor Srilatha, BRS MLCs MS Prabhakar, Surabhi Vani Devi, BRS MLAs Stephenson, Danam Nagender, Maganti Gopinath, Kaleru Venkatesh, Muta Gopal, AIMIM MLAs Balala and Mumthaj Ahmed Khan attended the meeting.
