POLYCET admission process to begin tomorrowSeat allotment scheduled for June 7

The admission process for POLYCET 2024 will commence on Thursday, May 23, according to Chadalavada Nagarani, Commissioner of Technical Education and Chairman of the Technical Education and Training Board. A meeting held at the State Technical Education Department office in Amaravati on Tuesday discussed various aspects of the admissions process and finalised the necessary plans.
Commissioner Nagarani outlined the key dates for the admissions process. Online payment for admissions will be available from May 24 to June 2. Certificate verification must be completed between May 27 and June 3. Optional registration is scheduled from May 31 to June 5, with the opportunity to change options on June 5. The allotment of seats will be completed by June 7. Students whose admissions are finalized will need to report both in person and online between June 10 and June 14.
Nagarani also announced that classes will begin on June 10 across the state. Rank cards can be downloaded from the official website, and students should be prepared for the admissions counselling process. Out of the 1,42,035 students who appeared for the POLYCET entrance exam, 1,24,430 qualified, marking an 87.61 per cent pass rate.
Key officials from the Technical Education Department, including Joint Director Velaga Padma Rao, Additional Secretary SVRK Prasad, State Technical Education and Training Council Secretary Ramana Babu, Chief Camp Officer Vijayakumar, Deputy Director Vijaya Baskar, and representatives from the National Informatics Center, participated in the meeting.
