Principals of ICSE schools discuss  NEP-2020

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) organised a crucial meeting at the Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad on Tuesday, bringing together principals of ICSE schools from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The focus of the meeting was the integration and implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which aims to revolutionise the educational landscape in India.
Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE led the discussions, emphasising the crucial role of NEP-2020 in shaping a progressive and holistic educational framework. He highlighted the necessity of adopting innovative teaching methodologies that align with the guidelines set forth by the NEP-2020, to foster comprehensive development among students.
The event commenced with an enthusiastic welcome from UA Sundari, Regional Secretary for the AP and Telangana Region. She expressed her excitement about the collaborative efforts and the potential advancements in educational standards that such meetings can catalyse.
Prominent personalities including Dr Immanuel, Chairman of CISCE, and Dr Sangeetha Bhatia, Deputy Secretary of CISCE participated.
The gathering provided a platform for principals to exchange insights and strategies on effectively implementing NEP-2020, ensuring that the region’s educational institutions remain leaders in academic excellence.
The meeting underscored the collective commitment to elevating the quality of education and adapting to contemporary educational demands, setting a progressive course for the future of schooling in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
