The Congress Government will expose the illegal acts of the BRS Government and its leaders carried out through the Dharani Portal before the people with evidence, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said.
He said the Congress Government will pass the new ROR Act-2024 Bill during the Assembly’s winter session commencing on Monday and will also introduce the Dharani Portal’s new App and new Act.
Addressing the media at the secretariat on Sunday, Ponguleti said the Congress Government had made changes in the Dharani Portal.
“The government removed the Dharani Portal from a foreign company and handed it over to the National Informatic Centre (NIC) on December 1. The government is bringing in the new ROR Act–2024 after correcting the mistakes of the ROR Act–2020. The government will approve the ROR Act–2024 in the Assembly’s winter session starting Monday,” he said.
Pointing out that the BRS government abolished the VRO and VRAs system suddenly and transferred them to various departments, Ponguleti said the Congress Government has decided to restore the VROs system and take back the VROs and VRAs of all villages before Sankranti to protect government lands.
He said the government is going to appoint 1,000 surveyors to strengthen the survey system and that the government will accept all suggestions helpful to farmers.
Declaring that the Congress Government will concentrate on journalists’ housing issues after Praja Palana Vijayotsavalu celebrations, he said that the government will provide houses to all the eligible poor.

He said that revenue from property registrations increased this year compared to last year, but it is not up to the expected level. He said the government expected 15 to 18 per cent revenue growth. However, that did not happen, he added.

Criticising BRS MLA T. Harish Rao’s charge-sheet against the Congress Government, he said that Harish should remember that people voted out the BRS.
