Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Additional Commissioner Nalini Padmavathi ordered the officials to resolve the Prajavani applications as soon as possible.
During the Prajavani programme on Monday, the GHMC received 64 applications from the citizens. Out of them, 28 applications were related to Town Planning, 10 to Revenue department, 7 applications related to Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), five related to Engineering Maintenance, four applications related to Admin Section and two applications were related to Water Works.
Additional Commissioner Satyanarayana said that when 8 complaints were received over the telephone, those were sent to the authorities concerned. Among these, Basti Dawakhana, encroachment of footpaths, installation of statues in front of the house and stray dogs problem.
A total of 102 applications were received in the zones. Out of that, 73 applications were received in the Kukatpally zone, 15 applications in Serilingampally, 5 applications in Charminar, three applications in LB Nagar zone and one request in Khairatabad zone.
CM&HO Dr Padmaja, Joint Commissioner for Health Shailaja, Chief Veterinary officer Dr Abdul Vakil, and others participated in the Prajavani programme.
