Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that former AICC President Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi are special invitees for the Tukkuguda ‘Jana Jatara’ public meeting being held on April 6.
The CM said that AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge would also attend the public meeting at which the party will release its manifesto.
Speaking to the media after seeing the arrangements made for the Jana Jatara public meeting at Tukkuguda on Tuesday, Revanth said that Telangana is special for the Congress. In the same manner, Sonia Gandhi’s family is very special for Telangana, he said.
He said that Sonia Gandhi released 6-guarantees on September 17, 2023, at Tukkuguda. The people voted for the Congress government due to the love they have for Sonia.
“Our government is implementing the 6-guarantees one after the other. The government will implement the remaining guarantees after the election code is lifted. We will implement the 6-guarantees. We are going to release our manifesto at the same venue. Releasing the manifesto here means the high command has recognised Congress activists’ hard work,” he said.
