Ram foregoes remuneration for upcoming project

Ram Pothineni is currently working on a film with director P Mahesh Babu, who is known for Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The unit recently returned after a long and hectic schedule in Rajahmundry. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, while Rao Ramesh, Rahul Ramakrishna and others are playing important roles. The film is being produced by the prominent production house Mythri Movie Makers.
Ram Pothineni has experienced consecutive flops with his films. After iSmart Shankar, which was released in 2019, Ram hasn’t seen a hit, despite doing several films, including Skanda with Boyapati Sreenu and Double iSmart with Puri Jagannadh. His career is currently in a rough patch and at this time, Mythri Movie Makers is producing this untitled film with P Mahesh Babu as the director.
According to a source, Ram is not taking any remuneration for this film, as he wanted to complete the shoot first. “Once the film is completed, Ram requested the rights to a particular area, which the producers agreed to,” said the source.
On the other hand, he is reportedly working hard for this film and the source revealed that it is a period drama. “The story revolves around a cinema hall that the protagonist wants to build for his favorite hero,” the source added.
