Raymond Group donates Rs 2 cr to CMRF

The Raymond Group has donated Rs 2 crore to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for flood relief efforts.
Raymond Group chairman Gautam Singhania met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat in Amaravati on Monday and personally handed over the cheque. The contribution was made towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support ongoing flood relief operations.
In addition, the Bank of Baroda (BoB) contributed Rs 1 crore to the CMRF. BoB Zonal Head and General Manager Ritesh Kumar, along with Zonal Deputy Manager Sudhakar, presented the cheque to the Chief Minister.
The Private Schools Association also extended support by donating Rs 65 lakh. Gangavarapu Vijaya Bhaskar handed over the cheque on behalf of the association. The Rashtriya Seva Samithi (RASS) contributed Rs 50 lakh, with its General Secretary Venkata Ratnam and Project Director Nagaraju presenting the cheque.
Further, NRI Maddipatla Krishna donated Rs 10 lakh to the CMRF, enhancing the collective support for the flood-affected regions.
