Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Telangana tour on Saturday seems to have alerted the TRS. TRS supremo Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is going to make his cadres get ready for the next elections and is discussing an action plan, it is learnt.

KCR has decided to conduct a joint meeting of the TRS Legislative Party (MLAs and MLCs), Parliamentary Party (MPs) and the TRS State Executive at 2 pm on November 15 at the Telangana Bhavan.

The meeting’s main agenda is to prepare the party for the next Assembly elections. The Chief Minister would direct the meeting on to how to move forward with new strategies as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders are concentrating on Telangana.The meeting would also discuss Modi’s November 12 comments.

The Chief Minister is expected to give directions to MLAs, MLCs, MPs and the TRS State Executive to get ready for the next elections.

The CM would inform the meeting that he will appoint constituency in-charges to correct mistakes if any in the constituencies from the party’s side or the government’s side and check if there is any anti-incumbency.

The Chief Minister would inform the meeting that he would tour all districts extensively and conduct review meetings and open party offices. It is learnt that the Chief Minister would speak at the November 15 joint meeting to boost the confidence of MLAs and ensure that no one is left unhappy. The party would also discuss its Operation Akarsh and give party posts to unhappy TRS leaders.

The Chief Minister would also discuss the Moinabad farmhouse incident and alert the party’s public representatives not to fall into the BJP’s trap. The meeting will also discuss how to expose the BJP and how to deal with the Congress.

The party may also discuss the Centre’s raids using the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate on TRS leaders.

The meeting would examine what sort of movements should be taken up at the national level as the TRS has been renamed as BRS. The process of TRS becoming the BRS is going on and the meet will discuss how to proceed after the TRS becomes BRS officially.

The meeting would discuss appointing BRS committees and BRS affairs in-charges in other states and a roadmap to promote BRS across the nation.

KCR may go to New Delhi after getting the nod of the Election Commission to change the name of the TRS into BRS and will return to Telangana by road conducting road shows.The meeting would also discuss the Munugode by-poll and analyse voting patterns.

The meeting would also discuss the movements to be taken up and how to take development projects and welfare programmes to the people.

The party would also discuss friendship with the CPI and the CPM and whether to continue it till the Assembly elections or not as the Reds are ready to travel along with the TRS till the next Assembly elections.

The meeting would also discuss protocol issues as KCR did not participate in the PM’s programme. Another issue that would be discussed is the Governor’s comment that the Raj Bhavan is not Pragathi Bhavan.
