Registration of new voters in city on Dec 1 & 2

The Special Brief Voter Amendment Programme 2024 provides a unique opportunity for new voters to register in Vijayawada City on December 2 and 3. Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar, the Central Constituency Electoral Registration Officer and Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation announced that individuals who turn 18 by January 1, 2024, are eligible for registration as voters as part of the Special Brief Voter Amendment Programme 2024 in the Central Constituency.
Pundkar said that a special voter registration initiative is underway for those who have not yet acquired the right to vote. A dedicated campaign will take place on December 2 and 3, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at each election booth. The commissioner urged both new and eligible voters to seize this opportunity and secure their voting rights.
