During an event in Rajahmundry on Monday, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu encountered a precarious situation when he lost his balance on the dais. The incident occurred after Naidu addressed the gathering at the ‘Raa…Kadali Raa’s meeting.
TDP sources revealed that a large number of party activists crowded the stage to garland and greet Naidu, creating a momentary stampede-like scenario that led to Naidu losing his balance.
In a timely response, two vigilant security guards swiftly intervened, preventing Naidu from falling. They skillfully assisted him in descending from the stage safely. It has been reported that the chief of the National Security Guard (NSG) commandos expressed dissatisfaction with the Andhra Pradesh police for their alleged failure in crowd management on the dais. Despite this, TDP leaders and police officials breathed a sigh of relief as Naidu successfully stepped down from the stage without incident.
