Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy is making it a point to stay close to the media—and he says it’s not just for headlines, but for strategy. During an informal interaction at the CLP office on Saturday, Chamala admitted that regular conversations with journalists are sharpening his political edge. “These interactions help me counter opponents better,” he said, adding that he picked up the habit from none other than Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. “Despite his packed schedule, the CM always made time for media briefings. That inspired me,” Chamala shared. He even went on to say that the media had a role in his election victory, so he intends to stay connected—not just during campaigns, but every single day. The young MP also made it a two-way street, asking reporters what was brewing across the state. Looks like for Chamala, newsroom gossip is turning into political homework.
