Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Manne Krishank, along with Cantonment Board ex-member P Shyam Kumar has taken up issues of Secunderabad Cantonment and submitted the representations to Special Chief Secretary, MA&UD, Arvind Kumar on Wednesday.
Krishank said, “Trimulgherry Lake rejuvenation and beautification work, has been pending for a long time despite repeated requests with the Secunderabad Cantonment Board by local representatives and urged the state government to take up lake development works instead of waiting for the Secunderabad Cantonment Board which has been procrastinating the development works with excuses like lack of funds and expertise.”
Following the request, Arvind Kumar responded that from the state-end notices will be sent and works will be taken up.
Later, another representation was submitted in which Krishank requested Arvind Kumar to take up the issue of dump yard relocation from Gandhi Community Hall premises which falls under Ward 7 of Secunderabad Cantonment with Army officials.
This place has been a spot for accidents and no official initiates to look after it, the residents can be relieved from insect spread infections if this relocation takes progress, added Krishank.
