TPCC President Revanth Reddy asked the Left to realise the BRS’ true colours by posting the statement of Health Minister T. Harish Rao that nobody is there in the state to carry the red flags of Communists and so they are using ASHA and Anganwadi workers to carry their flags.

Revanth tweeted on Monday saying, “Once again Harish proved that uncle and nephew have the habit of burning the raft after crossing the river. The BRS won the Munugode by-poll with the support of Communists but now they are saying that there is no one to carry the red flag. It is good for them and for the people if Communists recognise these chameleons. @cpimspeak.”

Responding to Harish’s statement, CPI State Secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao asked Harish whether he would say the same thing keeping his hand on his heart. Did the BRS candidate win the Munugode by-poll without Communist support, he asked.

Sambasiva recalled the BRS leaders’ statements after the Munugode by-poll thanking Communists for their support for the BRS’ candidate.

Meanwhile, the Congress criticised a school’s management for extending birthday greetings to BRS Working President KT Ramarao using school children.

The Congress tweeted, “For the late delivery of books in government schools, 2) For the non-funding of the mid-day meal scheme, 3) For distributing worm-infested rice in welfare hostels, 4) For not constructing toilets in girls’ schools 5) For reducing the funds of the education department every year, Thank you. Happy Birthday to Honourable Minister KTR.”
