In the last 90 days as a Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy ordered nine inquiries on important issues. As a PCC president, Revanth Reddy made several allegations over the alleged corruption of BRS government headed by the then chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. During the election campaign, KCR said, “If the people defeat the BRS in the Assembly elections, I have nothing to lose, will take rest in my farm house.”
In a counter to this, as TPCC president, Revanth Reddy said, “If he (KCR) thinks he can retire to his farm house after losing the elections, he is mistaken. We will prosecute him and make him retch out the crores of rupees he had illegally ingested.”  CM Revanth Reddy feels that corruption has spread in all departments under the BRS rule. Revanth Reddy wants to establish in the people that the other name of corruption is the BRS. After assuming charge as the Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy is taking steps one after the other in this direction.
In the first step, CM Revanth Reddy has decided to order a judicial probe into the alleged corruption in the construction of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project.
After that he ordered probe into power sector over the power purchase agreements, construction of Bhadradri and Yadadri power plants. Probe was ordered on Medigadda barrage issue and a comprehensive inquiry into contract given by BRS government to a private agency for toll collection and maintenance of Nehru Outer Ring Road. In the same way, probe was ordered over formula E races issue, Dharani, irregularities in the distribution of fish and sheep and irregularities in the allotment of houses. In the phone tapping issue also, CM Revanth asked for a detailed inquiry report. Some issues are being probed by the Vigilance and some other by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and some are departmental inquiries.
CM Revanth wants the investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) once irregularities and corruption are revealed in the priliminary inquiries. Revanth Reddy as a TPCC president had accused the then BRS dispensation of abuse of power and corruption in various issues. Now Revanth Reddy has got a chance to prove that his allegations are true, because as a Chief Minister he got many powers. CM Revanth Reddy suspects corruption took place even in the construction of the new Secretariat building, construction of Martyrs Memorial and in 125-foot-high BR Ambedkar statue.
