District Collector J Venkata Murali has instructed officials to expedite arrangements for organising Revenue Sadassulu, scheduled to be held from December 9 to January 5 across the district.
During a video conference on Tuesday with tahsildars and other revenue officials, the Collector reviewed the preparations for the event. He emphasised the need for sincere efforts and field-level visits to ensure the success of the seminars. He stressed that coordinated efforts are crucial to achieving the government’s objectives.
The Collector urged officials to address public grievances promptly, ensuring that no one is sent back without due attention. He also directed tahsildars to re-examine lands removed from the list of prohibited lands and submit detailed reports within a week.
“Applications in the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) must be thoroughly examined to provide justice to affected individuals,” he said, noting that 3,868 petitions have already been received and must be resolved quickly.
Additionally, arrangements for Legislative Council elections were discussed, with 5,843 petitions for voter list amendments requiring immediate action. The Collector also ordered the issuance of notifications for elections to water body associations. District Joint Collector Prakhar Jain directed officials to upload details of 3,900 acres of lands removed from the prohibited list online, prioritising accuracy. DRO G. Gangadhar Goud, RDOs, and other officials attended the meeting.
