Rs 351 crore water grid constructed to provide drinking water: Buggana

Minister for Finance Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said that a water grid was constructed at a cost of Rs 351 crore to provide water to every household in 30 villages through a 120 km long pipeline and 76 overhead tanks.
Addressing an interaction session with students in Dhone on Tuesday, he said that an integrated terminal market was being constructed for Rs 50 crore. To enhance employment opportunities for the youth, an IDTR project was established for Rs 20 crore in Dhone constituency and a Mega Industrial park was established at Orvakal.
He questioned the TDP leaders why they did not establish such institutions in the constituency during their regime. The Finance Minister assured of establishing a polytechnic, ITI and a flying school at Orvakal airport soon.
He also promised to establish Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technology Stores and other such institutions in the Dhone constituency in the future to generate more employment opportunities for the youth.
He highlighted that government schools were renovated at par with the private schools under the Nadu-Nedu programmes.
The Finance Minister alleged that Rs 271 crore was misappropriated in the name of Skill Development Centres during the TDP regime. State Meat Corporation Chairman Sriramulu, municipal chairman S Rajesh, MPP Regati Rajasekhar Reddy and other leaders were present.
