SAAP League app to give info about sportspersons

The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) has launched a special app for the benefit of sportspersons in the State. SAAP Chairman Byreddi Siddharth Reddy unveiled the ‘SAAP League App’ at the SAAP office on the premises of Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium in Vijayawada on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the SAAP Chairman said that the app aimed to register the details of sportspersons and it would be useful in easily accessing their performances. “SAAP is ready to provide support to every outstanding sportsperson. Earlier, as many as 1,000 tennis players registered their names for the Tennis League app,” he added.

He further said that 33 tournaments had been conducted since January. Like the Tennis League, the SAAP would conduct leagues in 11 sports events in the State. Those who wish to participate in the Jagananna Kreeda Sambaralu should also register their names in the SAAP League App, he suggested. SAAP Vice Chairman & Managing Director Dr N Prabhakar Reddy and others were present.
