Actress Samantha recently ventured into film production with Subham, which has done well at the box office. She expressed her happiness at the success of her first production venture during a success meet held in Hyderabad on Friday.
Reflecting on her school days, Samantha shared, “I still remember my mother working hard to take us to the theater. My brother and I used to fight over popcorn and I remember those summer holidays as if it happened yesterday.”
The actress also spoke about the struggles of being a producer. “In the industry, there’s only 10 percent success, yet producers continue to make films. I had doubts about becoming a producer myself, but when I saw the happiness on the faces of the Subham team, I realised that’s the real success. That’s why so many people keep making films,” she said.
Samantha emphasised her desire to make films that evoke nostalgic family memories. “I want to bring families back to theatres, and for that, I will continue making films,” she said. She also expressed gratitude towards the Subham team, acknowledging their tireless work. “They didn’t sleep for three days before the release,” she added.
