NTR’s debut Hindi film, War 2, is all set to begin promotions on May 20, coinciding with his birthday. This sequel to War is also part of the YRF Spy Universe. On Friday, Hrithik Roshan, who plays Kabir in War 2, took to social media to announce a surprise birthday celebration for NTR on May 20. He teased, “Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me, you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? (sic).”
Hrithik’s post instantly took the internet by storm, sparking speculation about a major reveal from War 2—the highly anticipated second installment of the franchise, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
NTR responded in his trademark style, saying, “Thank you in advance @iHrithik sir!!! Can’t wait to hunt you down to give you a special return gift, Kabir… (sic).”
War 2 brings together two of the biggest icons of Indian cinema—Hrithik Roshan as the fearless Kabir and Telugu superstar NTR. The film is slated for release on August 14 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
