Sanjay urges action against those who illegally allotted land for Eidgah

Telangana BJP chief Sanjay demanded action against those responsible for illegally allocating land meant for a vocational training centre in Nirmal town to construct an Eidgah.

Sanjay sent a letter on Tuesday regarding this to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He said that allocating land meant for education purposes for an Eidgah is nothing but mortgaging the future of youth for the sake of politics. It is also against the law, Sanjay pointed out.

Recalling the United Andhra Pradesh High Court’s verdict not to use land allotted for public purposes for other purposes, Sanjay said that constructing an Eidgah at Chincholi in Nirmal district is nothing but insulting the HC and comes under contempt laws.

Sanjay said that allocating land for Eidgah prayers near Hindu temples is nothing but a provocation. The decision in favour of one religion and sacrificing the interests of students for the sake of votes is nothing but selfish politics, Sanjay said.

It is painful that Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy and Home Minister Mahamood Ali went for the inauguration of the Eidgah’s construction on land allocated illegally, Sanjay said. He warned the BRS government will pay a heavy price if it goes against the Centre and Union Environment Department directions.
