BJP General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s first-ever tour of Vijayawada was cancelled as the Hyderabad–Gannavaram flight got delayed by four hours. But Sanjay attended the Andhra Pradesh Voter Chethan Abhiyan programme virtually.
The BJP high command appointed Sanjay as the BJP General Secretary and later as in-charge of the Andhra Pradesh BJP Voter Chethan Abhiyan programme after removing him from the post of president of the Telangana BJP unit.
The party handed over the responsibilities of Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and Odisha to Sanjay.
