Singaraipally village sarpanch Maheswari’s husband Nars Goud (48) was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kamareddy town on Tuesday. The body was found at a stone’s throw from the office of the District Superintendent of Police.
The police concluded that some unidentified persons had murdered Nars Goud. Deputy Superintendent of Police Suredy and Kamareddy Rural Circle Inspector Srinivas Goud rushed to the scene of the crime. Clues team was pressed into service to collect evidence at the crime scene.
The relatives of Nars Goud and people from Singaraipally arrived in large numbers in the town.
Business rivalry is suspected to be the motive behind the murder. Nars Goud was found dead on Tuesday. The police were alerted by local people.
The body was shifted to the Areas Hospital for post-mortem.
