Show-cause notice issued to YSRCP MLA

The State Election Commissioner issued a show-cause notice to the YSRCP Palamaner MLA for violating the Election Code of Conduct. According to official sources, YSRCP Palamaner MLA Venkata Gouda distributed pads to the 10th-class students who were attending annual examinations. The image of the MLA was printed on the pads. The 10th class students on Tuesday attended the examination holding the pads given by the YSRCP MLA. The TDP leaders had taken the matter to the Palamaner RDO and complained to the YSRCP MLA. The election officials issued a show-cause notice to MLA Venkata Gowda for violating the election code of conduct by distributing examination pads.
