Siddhu’s film releasing in theatres after five years

Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s film ‘Krishna and His Leela’ was released directly in OTT in 2020. Ravikanth Parepu was the director, while Rana Daggubati and Sanjay Reddy were the producers. Shraddha Srinath, Seerath Kapoor and Shalini Vadnikatti were the female leads. It’s a romantic comedy and the film was a successful one on OTT. Now after five years, the makers are releasing this film in theatres this Friday, on the occasion of Valentines’ Day. “We are not re-releasing this film. We are releasing it for the first time in theatres,” said Rana about the film. He added that they wanted to rename the film as ‘It’s Complicated’. “We have few names in our mind, but it is the director who comes up with this title,” said Rana.
Siddhu said that he wanted to see this film with the audience and hence releasing it in theatres. “We have many requests on social media about this film’s release, so we decided February 14 is the best,” said Rana Daggubati.
Director Ravikanth said that his first short film was titled ‘It’s Complicated,’ so he wanted to use the same title for this film. Siddhu became a big star after his last film ‘Tillu Square’ which grossed more than Rs 100 crore. Now, the makers wanted to cash in on Siddhu’s image. So they are releasing this film now in theatres, says a source.
