Special NCC Yachting Camp conducted

Indian Navy Watermanship Training Centre of INS Circars, under the aegis of the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA), conducted a 10-day Special NCC Yachting Camp from 21 to 30 Nov 22. 28 cadets from seven NCC directorates travelled from Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, UP, MP, Chattisgarh, Odisha, AP, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Jharkhand to attend the camp.

The Cadets were imparted class room instructions and practical training as per YAI (Yachting Association of India) syllabus and were practically trained on Enterprise Dinghy, Laser Bahia, Laser Std, and Bic Nova Wind Surfer. An Enterprise Dinghy race was held on 29 Nov 22. The closing ceremony was held on 30 Nov and the cadets were encouraged to pursue the sport of sailing.
