Will select 80 candidates by Aug-end: Thakre

Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakre said that they will announce the names of 80 candidates for the Assembly elections. He said that the party had speeded up the process of selecting candidates.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the Congress will announce the candidates’ names in constituencies where there is a consensus.It may be recalled that Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has been saying that party leaders have a feeling that the party lost the 2018 elections due to the delay in selecting candidates. He also said that the BRS gained by announcing its candidates much before the elections.
Keeping these things in mind, the Congress has decided to announce candidates much before the elections this time .
