Spotted deer rescued

A spotted deer that strayed into Ramanakkapeta village in Musunuru mandal was rescued.

Nuzvid DFO KSV Harigopal told the media at the village on Thursday that the spotted deer might have strayed into the village after losing its way. There are deer and other animals in the forest area at Kondapalli and A Konduru.

He said that a villager Satish who saw the deer at their village took it to his house and kept it in a room and informed the forest officials. The forest officials rushed to the village. The deer suffered minor injuries, he said. The deer would be released in the forest area, he said.
