The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided that Rs 116 must be paid by the devotees to get the talambralu of Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsava to be held at Bhadradri on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

Like last year, this time too, with the help of Telangana Endowments Department, preparations are being made to deliver talambralu to the houses of the devotees. Devotees must pay Rs 116 and register the details at TSRTC cargo parcel centres. TSRTC will deliver them home.

The booking poster of Bhadradri Sri Sitaramula Kalyanam Talambralu was unveiled by TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar on Wednesday. Later, he paid Rs116 to Business Head (Logistics) P Santosh Kumar and received the receipt. The first booking was made and the booking of Talambaralu was started.

They can be booked at all TSRTC cargo parcel counters in the state.

Millions of grains of rice, which have been peeled with a sieve, have been used in Kalyanam for many years as Talambaralu. This effort got a good response. Devotees have booked in huge numbers. Last year we gave talambralu to around 89,000 devotees. As a result, Rs 71 lakh was earned. โ€œIn view of last yearโ€™s demand, we are going to provide talambralu of Sri Sitaramula Kalyanotsavam held at Bhadradri this Sri Rama Navami to the devotees who want them. This time, along with Ramulori Kalyanam, there will be a 12-yearly Pushkara Imperial Coronation Mahotsav. Devotees who are unable to attend the grand Sri Ram Navami celebrations at Bhadradri should avail these services. Special Ramulori Kalyana Talambralu can be obtained, said MD Sajjanar.
