Telangana Boggu Gannula Karmika Sangam (TBGKS) honorary president and BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha clarified that jobs have been provided to youth on a large scale in the Singareni organisation and with the same spirit, youth will be given top priority in leadership.
In the wake of the Singareni elections, TBGKS president B Venkata Rao, general secretary Miryala Rajireddy and working president Kingarla Mallaiah held discussions about the strategies and preparations to be followed by Kavitha in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said that since 50 per cent of Singareni workers and employees are there. Priority will be given to young leadership in their union and opportunities will be provided up to 66 per cent in leadership responsibilities.
It is stated that KCR has revived the appointments on compassionate grounds which were stopped in 1998 but they appointed thousands of people in 2018. She said that until 1998 compassionate appointments were hampered due to national associations. It was clarified that KCR deserves the credit of providing job opportunities to women in Singareni through compassionate appointments, which was not even in Coal India.
She emphasised that the responsibility of saving Singareni rests with the youth. She said that KCR has done immeasurable efforts to make the organisation profitable, for the growth of the organisation and for the welfare of the workers, and called on TBGKS, the affiliated association of BRS, which saved Singareni from hardships, to win the elections with a huge majority. She concluded that only if TBGKS wins, the workers will get justice and TBGKS is the only organisation that stands on the side of the workers.
Kavitha said that during the BRS party’s rule, KCR had given around 20,000 dependent jobs and provided employment to the youth. She reminded that workers were distributed a huge amount of shares in the net profits of the Singareni company like never before.
