TDP corporators seek solution to drinking water problem

TDP corporators led by floor leader Nelibandla Bala Swamy met Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) Commissioner Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar and handed over a representation seeking to address the drinking water issue in the city. During the rainy season, contaminated water is supplied through the public taps, they told the Commissioner.
Subsequently, Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar held a meeting with the TDP members. They said that people are calling them to complain about the issue and asked the Commissioner to find a solution as early as possible.
The corporators also expressed concern over the mosquito menace and spread of viral fever and urged the VMC authorities to address the issue. They also requested Commissioner Swapnil to repair the damaged water pipelines.
TDP corporators Ummadi Venkateswara Rao, Mummaneni Prasad, Potluri Siva Sai Prasad, Vallabhaneni Rajeswari, Chennupati Kranthi, Channagiri Rammohana Rao, Kanchi Durga and former corporator Chennupati Gandhi were present.
