The tea stall of a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) sympathiser was demolished by the municipal corporation authorities at Venkateswara colony here on Saturday. TDP leaders visited the demolished tea stall on Sunday. A tea stall that was being run by Rambabu for the last 20 years in Venkateswara Colony was razed to the ground by the corporation officials with a JCB.

TDP state vice president and former MLA Damacharla Janardhan, along with other leaders and activists, saw the debris of the demolished tea stall. Damacharla Janardhan talking to the media alleged that the tea stall owner Rambabu was pressurized by the YSRCP leaders to convince his nephew Chiranjeevi to join the ruling party for which he refused.

ngered with the refusal of Rambabu, the ruling party leaders got his tea stall demolished by the municipal corporation official citing some technical reason. “The son of a minister has become a psycho and he is indulging in such cruel acts. The YSRCP leaders are intimidating the common men by using the police and the officials.

Nowadays, many shops and stalls have mushroomed on the bank of the irrigation canal. However, the officials did not touch the shops but demolished only the tea stall of TDP sympathizer Rambabu” the TDP leader lambasted.
