Telangana voters 3,30,37,113 Names of 5.26 lakh voters deleted, 7.19 lakh added

Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj announced that after the completion of the special summary revision of the electoral roll.
The final electoral roll was published in all the 119 Assembly constituencies on February 8, after the completion of the special summary revision of the electoral roll.
The number of voters in the final roll are 3,30,37,113 voters out of whom 1,64,47,132 are males and 1,65,87,244 are females. 2,737 individuals belong to the third gender. There are 15,378 service electors and 3,399 overseas electors.
In the process of publishing the final list, applications received before 22nd January 2024, were disposed of. As a result, from the date of the draft publication of the roll till the 3rd digital, February 7,19,104 additions and 5,26,867 deletions and 4,21,521 corrections of entries were carried out.
In a tribute to the spirit of inclusiveness behind the electoral process, the gender ratio of the electoral roll has improved from 1,000 on January 6, to 1009 in the final roll.
The gender ratio in the 18 to 19 age group has improved from 754 to 791. There are 4,54,230 voters who are above 80 years and 5,28,405 PwDs. The number of third-gender persons has increased to 2,737.
“It is important to note that although the final roll has been published, the exercise of continuous updation of the electoral roll will continue. All eligible persons (those who have completed 18 years of age as on 01.01. 2024 who are otherwise eligible) who could not make an application for enrolment earlier are once again requested to apply for inclusion in the roll. Those persons who will complete 18 years of age on the other three qualifying dates i.e., 01.04.2024, 01.07.2024 and 01.10.2024 are also eligible to make advance application for enrolment, he said.
