Telugu AI Voice Assistant to be unveiled soon

The first ever launch of the India’s Telugu AI voice assistant aims at empowering farmers, frontline healthcare workers, sanitation workers and others by granting them access to the benefits of Artificial Intelligence.
This AI Voice Assistant Project will enable users to interact with AI using one’s own voice in their mother tongue, the launch of the Telugu AI Voice Assistant represents the commitment, enabling even illiterate farmers to access weather updates and control pump sets through voice commands.
The motor pump operates based on the owner’s voice, activating when instructed to switch on and deactivating when it is told to switch off.
A live demo of using Telugu AI Voice Assistant by farmers was done to remotely operate the water pumps in farms.
This simple solution prevents electrocution deaths of farmers while physically switching on and off of the water pumps
India’s largest conference on AI and ML, AI Days 2024, with the theme of ‘AI4 society’, began on Saturday at JNTU, Hyderabad.
Organised by Swecha Telangana and supported by numerous partners, the two-day event has drawn over 2,000 attendees, including IT professionals, researchers, startups, and students.
Renowned experts from leading global tech firms constitute the distinguished faculty, highlighting Hyderabad’s rapidly increasing status as the epicenter of AI innovation.
Kiran Chandra, Founder of Swecha, highlighted AI’s potential to address societal challenges, emphasizing the collaborative effort of attendees spanning academia, industry, and research.
Day 1 featured esteemed speakers including Padma Bhushan Dr VS Ramachandran, Prof. Gaurav Raina, AI/ML leaders from Google, Chaitanya, Founder CTO of Ozonetel, Shikha Goel IPS, Director of Telangana Cyber Bureau, Nag Malladi, VP of Tech Mahindra, and a host of other eminent speakers, collectively shaping the discourse on AI’s transformative potential. Over the  two-day conference’s duration, attendees will benefit from keynote speeches by many other eminent speakers.
