Thunderstorm with lightning likely in south coastal AP

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 19 and 20 and in Rayalaseema on Sunday, Meteorological Centre said today. In a daily weather report here, it said Northeast Monsoon has been weak in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Dry weather prevailed in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam of Puducherry and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.The lowest minimum temperature of 16.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Kalingapatnam in the coastal region of state on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, the report added.
