ticket for Khammam LS constituency VH, Mallu Nandini among aspirants

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has received 41 applications from ticket aspirants for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The senior leaders V Hanumantha Rao, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Akula Lalitha, K Nagesh, Manda Jagannatham and others submitted their applications.
Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao sought Khammam Lok Sabha ticket. The Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s wife Mallu Nandini also submitted an application seeking Khammam Lok Sabha ticket, besides businessman VVC Rajendra Prasad.
TPCC vice-president Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy submitted his application seeking Bhongir Lok Sabha ticket. Bhatti Vikramarka’s followers alos submitted the application on behalf of Mallu Nandini at Gandhi Bhavan.
A total of nine aspirants sought ticket to contest from Mahabubabad, eight for Nagarkurnool, six for Warangal, six for Bhongir, three for Khammam, three for Nizamabad Lok Sabha ticket.
TPCC official spokesperson Chanagani Dayakar also submitted his application seeking Bhongir ticket. TPCC member Lakavath Laxminarayana Naik sought ticket to contest from Mahabubabad Lok Sabha constituency.
In fact, the Khammam DCC submitted a list of 10 names to the TPCC two days ago. The list has the names which include Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallu Nandini, Thummala Yugender, Ponguleti Prasad Reddy, Renuka Choudhary, V Hanumantha Rao, J Kusuma Kumar, Rayala Nageshwara Rao and Potla Nageshwara Rao.
