TJUDA meets Minister; raises concerns over new OGH building

The Telangana Juniour Doctors Association (TJUDA) on Tuesday met Telangana Health Minister Damoradar Rajanarasimha and raised concerns over construction of the new building for the Osmania General Hospital, stipends for interns and other issues.
The Minister assured   prompt release of stipends for the month of February; Narasimha  acknowledged the ongoing hostel issues and confirmed that progress is underway in identifying suitable locations to address the matter. The TJUDA also stressed on the need for security in government hospitals.
The Minister also addressed concerns over stipend for interns in private medical colleges.
The discussions reflect a proactive approach towards addressing key challenges in the healthcare sector, underscoring the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and support systems.
