The Telangana Police Department sent 2,000 home guards from Telangana to Chinndwara and Seoni districts for security services for the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections which are scheduled from November 13 to 18.
Under the guidance of Home Guards Additional Director General (DG) Abhilash Bisht, Home Guards Superintendent of Police (SP), IRS Bhaskar and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) M Bhaskar were the invigilators for this contingent of 2,000 home guards who went to Madhya Pradesh.
ACP P Arun Kumar is leading 800 home guards from Hyderabad and ACP Bhaskar is leading 1,800 home guards from other districts.
An official statement explained that these home guards will return to Hyderabad on November 19 after the elections to be held on November 17.
