A high-level meeting was held on Tuesday at the Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute in Hyderabad to discuss various issues related to healthcare, education, and nutrition by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by top officials from different departments, including State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Boinapally Vinod Kumar and Education Department Principal Secretary Vakati Karuna.
During the meeting, the officials discussed in detail the implementation of various programmes and policies related to education, medicine, and nutrition in rural and urban areas across the state. It was decided to take the services of prestigious organisations to examine these aspects at a micro level and prepare accurate reports.
The meeting also focused on expanding the programmes to more branches in the future, based on the survey reports. The first round of survey will be conducted on health, education department, nutrition, household survey, teaching and learning outcomes in schools.
The officials explained the procedures and duties related to the survey to the officials concerned. The meeting was seen as a positive step towards improving healthcare, education and nutrition sectors in the state, especially in rural areas. The attendees emphasised the need for more coordinated efforts to ensure effective implementation of policies and programmes.
