TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao, along with Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, inspected the arrangements on the four Mada Streets surrounding the Srivari Temple ahead of Ratha Saptami at Tirumala on Monday evening.
The facilities, including food distribution, drinking water, toilets, and sheds in the galleries, were reviewed.
On this occasion, the concerned officials were directed to take necessary measures to ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees. Speaking to the media, the EO stated that special vigilance and security arrangements had been made along the Mada Streets in coordination with the police.
He further informed that all preparations had been completed for the Ratha Saptami celebrations on Tuesday. From early morning till night, Sri Swami Varu will be taken in a grand procession on seven different vahanas.
An estimated two to three lakh devotees are expected to visit Tirumala for the occasion. To provide them relief from the summer heat, temporary sheds have been set up, and Annaprasadam will be distributed continuously across the galleries on Mada Streets.
JEO Veerabraham, In-charge CVSO Manikantha Chandolu, District SP Harshavardhan Raju, FA & CAO Balaji, CE Satya Narayana, and other officials participated in the inspection.
