Urvashi Rautela has now officially signed a big-ticket blockbuster magnanimous project with director Shankar, who’s earlier worked with superstar Rajinikanth and many more. For a long time, fans have been manifesting this and, finally, this update is making fans happy.
If the insider talks are to be believed, she was always the first choice for Shankar for this grand project and the director couldn’t imagine any other actress apart from her as the perfect fit for the role. Irrespective of her stardom, Urvashi always pushes herself beyond limits to work hard and here in this film too, the buzz is that she is going to learn Tamil officially to master the film, an extra step. It’s a wonderful association, and director Shankar is very excited to join hands with India’s pride and global icon, Urvashi Rautela.
He was quoted as saying, “Urvashi Rautela and Aishwarya Rai are my favourite actresses.”
Regarding the magnanimous collaboration and being the first choice for this movie by leaving aside other actresses, Urvashi too shared her views and we quote, “Shankar Sir is my ultimate favourite director. In fact, when I was invited for Indian 2, it was nothing short of phenomenal and the robot costume you all saw on stage was entirely his design; he was the style architect behind it all. He knows it all, basically. His visionary approach and meticulous attention to detail are truly inspiring. He knows exactly what he wants and is incredibly specific with his cast. If I ever have the privilege of becoming a filmmaker, I would aspire to create films with the same brilliance and precision as Shankar Sir. His creativity and dedication to pushing the boundaries of Indian cinema are qualities I deeply admire and wish to emulate. I can’t wait to learn Tamil fluently for our project together.”
On the work front, apart from her upcoming grand Tamil movie with Shankar, Urvashi Rautela has projects like Welcome 3 with Akshay Kumar, NBK109 with Bobby Deol, Dulqueer Salman, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Baap (a remake of Hollywood blockbuster Expendables) with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt, Inspector Avinash 2 with Randeep Hooda, and Black Rose, a special project alongside Jassie Gill, an international music video, and essaying the role of Parveen Babi in an upcoming biopic. Apart from that, she will be seen playing the role of a college politician in the movie titled JNU, a special music video with Jason Derulo and a lot more.
