Vizianagaram District Court to get new building complex

The vision of a modern judicial facility for the district will soon become a reality, as the new building complex for the Vizianagaram district court is on the horizon. This milestone, regarded as a first in the State, was celebrated during a felicitation ceremony organised by the Vizianagaram Bar Association on Sunday.
During the event, High Court judges took the opportunity to acknowledge the crucial role played by the Bar Association in securing approval for the project. They emphasised that this achievement was due to the collective dedication of the association rather than individual efforts.
The special gathering, hosted by the District Bar Association, honoured several judges, including those from Gujarat, Allahabad, and other High Courts, who gathered to celebrate this landmark development. Among the speakers was Justice Chikati Manvendranath Roy, who reflected on the state of the previous court buildings, which had been in use for over 30 years on unsuitable land.
