Water board MD does a chit-chat

Regime change has brought in its wake significant changes in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, which comes under the spotlight on autopilot during summer. The previous water board MD Dana Kishore used to largely avoid the media. However, possibly for the first time in several years, the present water board, MD Sudharshan Reddy, recently did a chit-chat. What is interesting is that the idea of a chit-chat, quite popular among wily politicians, is now catching on among bureaucrats. For scribes perennially starved of authentic water-related information from the horse’s mouth, even such chit-chat is fine. What if it is without cameras or recording devices? The Water board MD, aware of the watered down presser, brought along his directors for the interaction that left newshounds thirsting for more and more relevant information.
