YSRCP complains to EC against Naidu, Lokesh

Must read

The YSRCP has formally approached the Election Commission urging immediate action against Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh for their alleged derogatory remarks targeting Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The complaint was filed with Additional CEO Harindra Prasad at the Velagapudi Secretariat on Saturday.
During the submission, State Planning Board Vice President and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu condemned KR Suryanarayana, the State president of the Government Employees’ Union, for repeatedly flouting election regulations. Vishnu lamented the consistent disregard for disciplinary measures by Suryanarayana despite previous suspensions. He emphasized that despite the enforcement of the election code, there have been instances of provocative employee gatherings across the state. Vishnu urged the EC to take punitive action against Suryanarayana.
Vishnu further criticized the speeches of Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, alleging that their rhetoric is fueling unrest in the state. He specifically pointed to Lokesh’s public addresses, which he claimed incited activists to target members of the ruling party. Presenting a video clip of Lokesh’s speech, Vishnu alleged that such statements directly led to the unfortunate incident of YSRCP leader Venkata Reddy’s murder in Mangalagiri. Vishnu also attributed the recent stone attack on Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada to the provocative language used by TDP members. He asserted that TDP activists are resorting to violence out of fear of electoral defeat.
The YSRCP delegation included Ravela Kishore Babu, Ankamreddy Naga Narayanamurthy, and YCP legal cell member Srinivasa Reddy.
