The focus of the bus yatra on social and political empowerment was reiterated by YSRCP leaders, who emphasised the uplift of marginalised communities. The minister asserted that CM Jagan allocated a substantial 80% of the 2.75 lakh jobs to BC, SC, ST, and minority communities.
The Minister cautioned against succumbing to what he termed as hypocritical narratives, particularly the opposition TDP-JSP alliance suggesting a union of thieves in the upcoming 2024 elections. He urged the public to throw their support behind CM Jagan in the next election, emphasizing the importance of securing his victory.
Minister Adimulapu Suresh, highlighting CM Jagan’s impactful leadership, emphasized the resolution of challenges faced by drum artists Padmashalis and other community members. Suresh, hailing from the Dalit community, underscored his ministerial appointment and the elevation of others to Deputy Chief Ministers, attributing it to CM Jagan. He praised CM Jagan as the key catalyst for achieving political, economic, and social empowerment of backward communities in the state.
MP Krishna Devarayulu electrifyingly declared that he stands before the people today after successfully fulfilling every promise made during the 2019 elections. The MP highlighted that the YSRCP government has successfully implemented the Navaratna welfare schemes to all eligible beneficiaries, including the Varikapudishala Lift Irrigation Scheme, construction of roads amounting to Rs 3,000 crores, and the establishment of a medical college along with three central schools in the district.
Expressing gratitude to CM Jagan for establishing Narasaraopet district, MLA Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy highlighted the realization of the 65-year-old Narasaraopeta district dream and attributed it to CM Jagan. He also revealed that the YSRCP government, over the last 4.5 years, disbursed Rs 560 crores through DBT for welfare schemes and another Rs 280 crores for non-DBT to beneficiaries in the constituency.
The MLA further announced the approval for Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rompicherla, along with permissions for the construction of bypass roads at Chilakaluripet and Narasaraopet. These initiatives collectively signify a comprehensive array of development programs aimed at uplifting the region and improving the lives of its residents.
