Government Advisor and YSRCP general secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has said that under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSRCP has overseen 20 years of development during its five-year tenure. The ‘Siddham’ meetings have garnered national acclaim. Building upon this momentum, Jagan will embark on a bus tour dubbed ‘Memanta Siddham,’ starting from Idupulapaya on March 27.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Sajjala outlined the schedule and route map for YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy’s bus yatra. Apart from the areas where ‘Siddham’ meetings have previously taken place, the bus tour will extend to cover the remaining regions. The ‘Siddham’ meetings, marked by significant attendance, have been hailed as a tremendous success. Sajjala noted that 99 per cent of the YSRCP’s 2019 poll manifesto has been fulfilled in this term.
Throughout the tour, CM Jagan will engage with millions of YSRCP supporters and workers across the State. The bus yatra will traverse districts not previously covered by ‘Siddham’ meetings and will continue until the elections, Sajjala added.
The Government Advisor further emphasised YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s dedicated efforts towards public welfare as Chief Minister. He announced that the first ‘Memanta Siddham’ meeting will take place in Proddatur. Jagan will travel from town to town as part of these meetings. During the morning sessions, CM Jagan will interact with various groups, soliciting their advice and suggestions. The itinerary for the first three days includes a meeting in Proddatur on March 27, an interaction in Nandyal or Allagadda followed by a public meeting in Nandyal on March 28, and a meeting in Yemmiganur on March 29, Sajjala stated.
Before commencing the bus yatra on March 27, CM Jagan will pay homage to YSR Ghat. Subsequently, he will engage with party leaders and cadres in the morning, followed by an evening public meeting.
MLA Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani), alongside party leaders Talasila Raghu Ram and Lella Appi Reddy, were in attendance.
