44,733 students to take Intermediate exams in Prakasam

Prakasam District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar has said that elaborate arrangements have been made to conduct Senior Intermediate examinations in the district.
Dinesh Kumar inspected the Intermediate examination centre at Narayana Junior College on Friday. He visited all the rooms and observed how the examination was conducted at the centre. He also inspected the CCTV control room and saw the functioning of the equipment.
He directed the Superintendent to conduct the intermediate examinations without flaws. Talking to the media on the occasion, Collector Dinesh Kumar said that 44,733 students are attending the intermediate examinations across the district for which 69 examination centres were set up. Of the total 44,733 intermediate students, 21,570 were first-year students and 23,163 were second-year students. He said the examinations are held from 9 am to 12 noon. He said that Intermediate theory examinations would be conducted from March 20.
“Required police bandobast was provided to prevent mass copying and irregularities. All Xerox centres around the examination centres were closed during the examination. Two invigilators were appointed to every hall. The CCTVs were connected to the control room. The government machinery has been put on high alert to conduct the intermediate examination in a peaceful atmosphere,” the Collector asserted. Chief Superintendent Madhava Rao was among those who accompanied the Collector.
