Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) inaugurated a 5-day International Training Programme on Cyber Security on Monday. The five-day programme will include interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, and real-world simulations, ensuring that attendees gain practical insights into the world of cyber security.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Vinod Kumar highlighted the significance of technology in our daily life, stating, “Skill and technology play a vital role in the job arena. There is good and bad in every work we do, in every field we choose the path we choose is in our hands. APSSDC is exploring fields that are not yet known and training the youth that make them future-ready. The proof is that centers of excellence related to drone technology and electric vehicles are being set up. In the recent visit to Vietnam and South Korea, I noticed the demand for the youth of Andhra Pradesh.
Technology plays a vital role in helping us choose and know what we want. Around 950 people enrolled for this cyber security training in a week is an example of the interest of the youth. Under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, our special focus is on the programs that provide relevant skills to the youth.
Referring to the ‘Back to the Future’ movie related to technology, Vinod Kumar said that 70 percent of the training programmes offered by the AP Skill Development Corporation are IT and engineering-oriented.”
