Over 702 applications were registered during the Prajavani on Tuesday, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Seetakka visited the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan as the officials were busy receiving memoranda from people.
Seetakka, accompanied by State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinna Reddy, accepted applications from the public.
A large number of people attended the Prajavani programme to represent their problems. Members of the Greater Hyderabad Driver Cum Owners Association demanded an increase in compensation due to the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and gas.
The officials reported that out of the 702 total applications, 219 related to Revenue issues, 54 to the Municipal Department, 52 to the Home Department, 44 to the Housing Department, 46 to the Civil Supplies Department, and 287 to other departments.
Special Publicity Officer and Director of the Municipal Department D Divya, along with other officials, received the applications and inquired about the public’s concerns.
